Split Pea Soup

2 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 onion, sliced
2 celery stalks
3 cloves garlic
1 cup split peas
1 cup red lentils
1 litre vegetable stock
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in a pot. Cook on medium heat until peas and lentils are cooked, about 1 hour.

Blend with hand mixer.
