Granola Bars

2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup organic sugar cane
1/2 cup oat or wheat bran
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup spelt flour
1/4 cup sliced almonds
3 tbsp. sesame seeds
1/2 dark chocolate chips
1/4 raisins
3/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 egg, beaten
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup apple sauce
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix wet ingredients in a medium bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry.

Pat mixture into greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes. Cut bars right away. If you leave them too long, they will harden, and you won't be able to cut them.
